I was on my period” was the excuse I used to convince myself when the acne on my face started.
For someone who has had an acne free face over 2years I was not bothered .
Days turned into weeks and weeks into months then I became worried but still shrugged it off until I posted a picture on a sunny afternoon and my brother asked “ what is wrong with your face” .
My brother is the least person I would expect to notice a change in my skin.
The following day I went for a dress fitting and I alooked into this full mirror at my Tailor’s then I knew this was alarming.
I was sad, and felt so dejected. My brother said “ better call Dr Gold”
I knew nothing has changed in my routine, so I knew buying any skin care product was a big No❌.
I took my phone and did a video to show her the situation of my face. We hadn’t spoken in ages but I knew she was always one call away.

I really hate medications, but I didn’t hate it for than the way my face was. I was so committed to using the medications and in less than 2 weeks .
