Stop seeing those ‘haters’ and thrive!

I read a post from a popular Nigerian actress Lota Chukwu and I’m paraphrasing it – You are doing yourself and your supporters a great disservice if all you ever see are your ‘haters’. I totally agree with her.

Of course it’s okay once in a while to ‘pepper’ those people that are just hating you for no reason so that they can choke on their bile and hate. But if all you ever see consistently are the people that hate you without some accolades for your loved ones, then you’re ‘suffering’ from one of these scenarios.

  1. Nobody hates you but o kan ni (you just have) paranoid delusion ni sha.
  2. You’re actually hated because you’re a crappy person. Iwa e o da l’adugbo.
  3. Delusion of grandiosity of your own self importance. People are busy maidear. Stop feeling so important.

If you want to thrive in life,  learn to ignore the voices of those that have no single positive impact in your life. Let it be a case of ‘dapada’ in your mind as they’re hating you. Face your squad. And let them watch you fly.

So what do we say to supposed ‘haters’?
They ain’t seen nothing yet!

Walahi, I am loved. By both known and unknown. I put up preorder on the 1st and I have over 20 preorders already. I promise you, you will NOT be disappointed. I put my sweat and everything into writing this book the best way possible. And I am CERTAIN it will make a positive impact.

Can you see the face of the newest author on the block? I have ticked off one of those things on my bucket list. I’m sure none of my secondary school mates who knew me well would be surprised that I’m an author. My teacher once reported me that I was reading a novel in class that I hid in a textbook.

I remember someone asked a question on social media once. “Would you like to come back to this life again if you could choose who and what you’ll be?
My response? – NEVER. Because I am living my life like its golden (pun intended), touching lives, creating impact and also taking care of myself and loved ones the best way I know how. I am loving with reckless abandon and giving myself in the best way possible. I have the best friends, a great family and dermatology is something I love. I am taking life fearlessly and wholesomely. Why will I want to come back when I would have lived the best way possible the first time?
